Jim Questa

Jim Questa was known as a musical talent when he turned age five, playing songs on the piano by ear that he heard during kindergarten. His parents nurtured that God given talent by purchasing an organ for the home and searching for a teacher who would take on such a young student. During his grade school years, Jim appeared on every local television station in Cincinnati and even appeared as a Showtime guest on the internationally syndicated New Mickey Mouse Club in Anaheim, California.
Jim started his music group career as the keyboard player for Animation in 1982, then joined Balance in 1983. In 1984 he joined AM/FM where he met Jason Aronoff and Chris Mundy who were the Guitarist and Basest for Cincinnati's progressive rock powerhouse Mara.
Jim joined Mara in 1984 with Jay, Chris, drummer John Biondo and singer Don McMaster. After Marty Farris took over as lead vocallist in 1986, Mara released their first recording - Breaking The Silence - in 1987 while opening for acts such as Shooting Star, Andy Summers (The Police), Marilian, and other rock and progressive acts. Mara also played in numerous clubs in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton area over the years.
In 1991, Jim was hired on by singer / songwriter Danny Morgan. Jim played full time during the summer in Cincinnati, then toured Sanibel and Captiva Island, Naples, Sanford, and Key West Florida for 7 months. When he returned to Cincinnati the summer of 1992, family obligations forced him to leave Danny's project and take a day job.
After just 2 weeks off the road, Jim was called into service by The Take, a touring band based in Middletown, OH. Jim took over for fellow keyboardist Greg Buckley for one month while Greg recovered from a brief illness.
Jim was approached by Richard Sciutto and Jim Oldfield in the summer of 1992, and officially joined Bad Habit in October of that year.
When not playing music and making other noises with Bad Habit, Jim plays golf and ice hockey for recreation. That would explain all of the hockey jerseys...
